Cutting Edge Trading Limited t/a CE Skirting

1.1 “Company”, “CE Skirting”, “we”, “us” and “our” means Cutting Edge Trading Limited trading as CE Skirting.
1.2 “Customer”, “you” and “your” means the purchaser of goods supplied by CE Skirting.
1.3 “Goods” means any skirting boards, architraves, wall panelling, mouldings, window boards, accessories and related products supplied by CE Skirting.
1.4 “Made-to-Order Goods” means products manufactured, machined, primed, undercoated, finished or otherwise produced specifically to a customer’s order.
1.5 Manufacture shall be deemed to have commenced once materials have been allocated, cut, machined, primed, undercoated, packaged or otherwise processed for an order.
The majority of products supplied by CE Skirting are manufactured specifically to customer requirements and are therefore classified as made-to-order goods.
Customers acknowledge that:
Such variations shall not constitute a fault.
Customers are strongly encouraged to order samples before placing an order.
Product images, profile drawings and descriptions are provided for guidance only.
Differences arising from photography, screen settings, manufacturing tolerances or customer perception shall not constitute a fault.
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
Orders placed incorrectly by the customer shall not be considered faulty goods.
All lead times and delivery dates displayed on our website are estimates only.
Whilst CE Skirting will make every reasonable effort to achieve advertised lead times, delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.
Customers must inspect goods immediately upon delivery.
Any shortages or damage should be noted on the delivery documentation wherever reasonably possible.
Customers should not arrange:

CE Skirting shall not be liable for:
Where delivery is authorised without a signature, risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.
CE Skirting accepts no liability for subsequent loss, theft, damage or shortages.
All deliveries are made to kerbside only unless otherwise agreed.
Orders cancelled before manufacture has commenced will receive a refund less a 5% administration and payment processing charge.

Once manufacture has commenced, customers shall be entitled to a refund of 50% of the order value.

These deductions apply regardless of whether free delivery was offered on the original order.
Refunds will only be processed once returned goods have been received and inspected.
Orders cannot be amended once manufacture has commenced.
As a gesture of goodwill, CE Skirting may accept returns of made-to-order goods subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Acceptance of a return does not imply fault or liability on the part of CE Skirting.
Returned goods must:

Where a customer has ordered an incorrect profile, size, finish or quantity, the return shall be treated as a standard return under Section 6.
Where goods are refused by the customer and are not faulty or damaged, the order shall be treated as a return.

The customer must allow CE Skirting a reasonable opportunity to investigate any alleged damage.
Additional photographs, measurements or information may be requested.
Where damage is confirmed, CE Skirting shall have the first right to remedy the issue.
Remedies may include:
CE Skirting shall endeavour to dispatch replacement goods within 5 working days of accepting responsibility.
Refunds shall only be considered where:
The decision whether to replace, repair or refund shall remain with CE Skirting.
Any alleged manufacturing fault must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Customers must provide:
Customers must allow CE Skirting a reasonable opportunity to investigate any alleged fault before undertaking remedial work or purchasing alternative products.
Where a manufacturing fault is confirmed, CE Skirting shall have the first right to remedy the issue.
Remedies may include:
CE Skirting shall endeavour to dispatch replacement goods within 5 working days of accepting responsibility.
Refunds shall only be considered where:
Refunds shall be limited to the value of the affected goods only.
Customers must not arrange remedial works, purchase replacement products from alternative suppliers or incur third-party costs without the prior written consent of CE Skirting.
Any such costs incurred without prior written approval shall not be recoverable from CE Skirting.
Where free delivery has been offered, CE Skirting nevertheless incurs a delivery cost.
In the event of cancellation, return, refusal of delivery or customer error, CE Skirting reserves the right to deduct the actual delivery and collection costs incurred from any refund due.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CE Skirting shall not be liable for:
CE Skirting’s total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods purchased.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
CE Skirting shall not be liable for any delay or failure arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to:
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
